Video is something all communications teams know they should be doing. But creating regular content can be costly and time-consuming. Equipping your team with the skills to shoot video on their smartphones means you can bring some of your video messaging in-house. Our training enables your staff to create regular, relevant and engaging video content for internal and external audiences alike.
On the day you will plan, shoot and edit an interview based video with cutaway footage. This provides a strong grounding in communicating a core message, capturing strong visuals, and recording quality audio. With these skills you can go on to create a wide range of video content from meet the team videos, to client testimonials, vox pop opinion pieces to how-to videos.
Our hands on approach gives participants the chance get to grips with the technical aspects of filming and editing. We provide all equipment for the day including iPhones pre-loaded with the best shooting and editing apps on the market for both IOS and Android. Participants work in pairs to produce their own video, sharing the final edit at the end of the course.
Trainer Emma Baker brings expertise and insight from 7 years producing corporate videos. The examples she shares will give you strong ideas about the types of videos you want to produce.
Our video production training has been delivered successfully to Sport Scotland, Transport Scotland and SGN. We can tailor the course to your needs depending on the experience of the team. We can also deliver training on DSLR video production and desktop editing if you require.
