If you watch Comsteria’s Smartphone Video Show every Friday lunchtime from 1pm, you’ll know how much we love Canva.
It’s one of the most powerful design tools we’ve come across and offers outstanding value for money. For many users, the free features will be more than enough, helping them create stunning looking visuals at high speed, with a really smart, easy to use interface and workflow. It works in your browser but in our opinion really shows off what it’s capable of on your smartphone or tablet using the app.
More advanced users will enjoy the PRO plan, available for just £11.99 a month or pay annually for £99. Non profits can register for FREE access to join Canva PRO.
Canva began life as a photo editing tool helping users create custom graphics that could quickly be re-formated into the perfect dimensions for use across the various social networking channels. For example, a YouTube cover image, Facebook profile picture and Linkedin ‘header’ image. You can save templates, access a library of clip-art and other graphical elements, move things across as you see fit and then move into creating posters, flyers, and much more.
We still meet clients who aren’t familiar with what Canva can do for video. Depending on your intended use, it might be all you need. It’s well worth a look and can save you hours. Here’s Emma running through just a few of its features.
